PDF documents created in Edge missing data or errors

I have a user who is on windows 10, she creates pdf documents with edge which open fine in preview (Mac) and edge, but have an error when opening with reader. This is not the first time I have seen this type of plugin error with saved pf files failing to open in reader on both Mac and PC.

How can the plugin in edge be repaired or changed to operate correctly so that when a document is opened in reader it works.
