pdf file can not print in one account

I'm unable to log in and print PDF files using account A, but other file formats print normally. However, other accounts can print PDF files on the same computer. Could you please tell me what settings in Adobe Reader are causing this? Thank you.

(pdf file can not normally sent to printer in one account, but the ohter account in the same computer is normally)

    Hi @ektrontek,

Thank you for reaching out, and we understand how disruptive it can be when PDFs will not print from one user account while everything else works normally on the same computer.

To summarize what you are seeing: on the same machine, PDF files fail to print when signed in to account A, other file formats print fine from account A, and PDFs print without issue from the other user accounts on that computer. Since the behavior is isolated to one user account, it is most helpful for us to narrow this down with a few details before recommending next steps:

    1. What is the exact version of Acrobat Reader installed? You can check this by going to Help > About Adobe Acrobat Reader. Full steps are here if needed: https://adobe.ly/4aX6N80

    2. What is your operating system and version? (For example, Windows 10, Windows 11, or a specific macOS version and build.)

    3. What happens when you try to print from account A? For example, do you see an error message (please share the exact wording or a screenshot)? Does the print dialog open, but nothing is sent to the printer, or is the job being sent to your intended physical printer rather than a different destination?

    4. In account A, is the correct physical printer selected in Acrobat Reader's Print dialog, and is it set as the default printer for that user account?

    5. Have any changes been made recently to account A, such as an Acrobat Reader or printer driver update, or new security or PDF-related software?

In the meantime, we would recommend walking through the steps in our official troubleshooting guide in order, while signed in to the affected account A: https://adobe.ly/4wM2HrE

Once we have the details above, we will be able to guide you more precisely.

Please let us know how it goes. We're happy to assist further.

    Thanks,
    ^BS
