Followed the Adobe Help steps from the link. Ended background processes using end process tree, repaired the Adobe program, tried printing "Print as Image", disabled Protected Mode at startup. Clear corrupted data and cache (DC.old). After those failed, I uninstalled Adobe, wasn’t uninstalling, ran the official Adobe Acrobat Cleaner Tool, rebooted, and performed a fresh reinstallation of Adobe Reader from Software Center (version 25.001.20693 x64). Same error. Previously there was a newer Adobe version installed on 7/27/2026 as listed in Control Panel - Installed programs (I have not installed it). Still can’t print.

    Hi @tomorroworromot

Hope you are doing well, and thanks for reaching out. We are sorry for the trouble you are experiencing.

Please follow the steps in the sequence and see if that works:

    1. Please remove the application using the Acrobat cleaner tool https://adobe.ly/4yPiqbn, reboot the computer

    2. Reinstall the application with the new version, using the direct link https://adobe.ly/4yOP38W and see if that helps.

If it still doesn’t work, please check if it's a file-specific issue or an issue with all the PDFs. Try printing a different file and check. You may also go through the steps shared in the help page https://adobe.ly/4bj2WlQ and see if that works.

    Helpful response, thanks!

It turned out to be a specific file issue.

The file contained pages where not all pages had the same size. Printing choked up on those pages which were different size than other pages in the document.
