Don't open the file in a browser. Open it in Acrobat Reader.

    Hello Susanp,

Can you provide more detail on what’s going on? Are there any specific error codes or messages? Can you post a screenshot of the error you are getting? To share the screenshot, refer to the steps mentioned in the article https://forums.adobe.com/docs/DOC-7043#jive_content_id_How_do_I_attach_a_screenshot

Are you trying to print a PDF using the freeware Adobe Reader or trying to view any PDF?

What is the version of Mac OS installed?

What is the dot version of Adobe Reader installed? To identify, refer to https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/identify-product-version.html

Reboot the computer once and try printing or viewing the PDF.

Make sure that you have the latest version of Adobe Reader installed, to check for any pending updates of Adobe Reader from help>check for updates, reboot the machine after updating Adobe Reader.

If you need to install the latest version of Adobe Reader, use the URL Adobe - Adobe Acrobat Reader DC Distribution

We're here to help, just need more info.

    Thanks,

    Anand Sri.
