Question

PDF Form file increases in size after every save.

I have a form in a PDF file. It includes a "Clear Form" button and a "Sumbit Form" button. What I'm finding is that every time the form is emailed via the "Submit" button, it increases in size. The virgin form is about 120Kb but, after a while the form gets up to 1MB. Even if I use the "Clear Form" button to empty all the fields, the file size still increases.

The form is used on Samsung tablets with the latest Adobe Acrobat Reader app from the play store.

Is there something that can be done to sort this out?

I don't know, but "Save as" is the only way not to increase the file size.

Is there a way to use a script in the reset button to completely delete all the data including any appended stuff that is causing the file size to increase?

Save as isn't an option as it submits to email using the button on the form.

"Save as" and overwrite instead of "Save".

Is there such an option in the mobile version of Reader?
