PDF iFilter 64 11.0.01 - Supported? Security Vulnerabilities?

I'm trying to find information about PDF iFilter 64 bit, version 11.0.01.  My main questions are:

1. Is it a supported product?  If not, is there any documentation to indicate that it has reached End of Life?

2. Are there any known vulnerabilities related to it?

I'm providing the link to ensure no one confuses this with a Foxit iFilter question.  I'm referring to the Adobe product.  Our IT department has been requested to install it on SQL Server 2016 and I can't find anything to indicate that it works properly on that version.  It appears to have been tested for SQL 2012 and earlier.  Also, if it's not supported, it's not something I'd want on a corporate level SQL Server.
