PDF is not readable

PDFs generated from our browserbased office management software are not readable with older Acrobat Versions on Mac (OSX 10.11.6, Acrobat X 10.1.16).
All used fonts are embedded but the letters are disarranged. See example below. With the default PDF reader for Mac "Preview" everything is fine.  Thank you for your help.

    Hi D.hoepfner,

As mentioned, that you are able to view the pdf in Mac preview.

Could you confirm how the file renders in Mac preview or in any other pdf viewing application?

We would appreciate if you share more information.

    Regards,
