pdf links in a document are not opening up

Question

Hello together,

we do have an operating manual and in this documents there are some links to other pdf-files in other folder. By clicking the link, the link pathway is showing up and it is asked if the linked document is trustful. After the confirming nothing happens anymore. So in the end the linked file is not opening up.

All documents are opening up by opening in the normal way.

Do you have any idea, what could be the problem. This problem just showed up since 2 months, before it worked well.

One possibility, for instance, is the PDFs got moved and the links need to be reset. There could be other reasons.

You need the paid version of Acrobat to edit links. You can't do it in the free Reader.
