PDF: menu on right

All PDF that I have saved and want to save are now showing the menu on the right hand side of the documents. THe rep told me when I open a pdf , right click and choose open with chrome. I never had to do that before today and clients I send PDF's never had to do it. What has change and how do I fix

    Hi Ed,

    Could you please provide more details about the issue?

    By right-hand side menu, do you mean the Tools pane at the right-hand side of the Adobe Acrobat Reader DC?

    If yes, please manually close the menu and then go to Edit  > Preferences > Documents.

    Then check the box for "Remember the current state of Tools pane".

    Click on the OK tab at the bottom of that Preferences window.

    Check if that resolves the issue.

    If you are referring to something else, please share the screenshot of the right-hand side menu you are referring to.

    To share the screenshot, use the steps provided below:

    - Click on the insert icon provided in the reply window as shown below:

    - An Insert Image window will appear.

    - Then click on Insert Image and browse the location where you have saved the screenshot file.

    - Select the file and click on Open > Insert Image.

    Also, share the application and OS version installed on your machine.

    all my PDF files show the tools pane on the right hand side. So when I save

    and open my documents you see the tools on the right hand side. I only saw

    the document in the past

      Did you try the steps provided in reply 1 to hide the tools pane?
