PDF opening as webpage

Hi, whenever I attempt to open a PDF it opens as a webpage in the browser. I want to revert to opening simply as a PDF file - could anyone advise?

    Hope you are doing well and sorry for the trouble. As described, whenever you attempt to open a PDF it opens as a webpage in the browser.

     

    What is the workflow/steps you are doing to open the PDF file? Is the PDF file stored on a shared network/drive? Are you trying to open the PDF from a web browser? Please download the PDF to your computer first and then try to open it and check.

     

    Is this an issue with a particular PDF file or with all the PDFs that you try to open? Please try with a different PDF file.

     

    Please set the Adobe Acrobat/Reader DC as the default application to handle the PDF files on your computer system and reboot the computer once and check if that helps.
