PDF password protected

All my pdfs are requesting a password. It is extremely annoying as I did not password protect anything. You have had this issue before Adobe. Can you sort it please.

Can you please help with the below details.

Has this behavior started happening Recently after any Updates?
What is the version of the Adobe Reader you are using?
What is the source of these files?
Is this the case where a file was opening fine before Update and after Update, it has started asking for a password?
If So, Can you please share the files with us on absethi@adobe.com?

You can't password protect PDF files with Reader. If you're seeing such a message it means that whoever created the files decided to apply a password to them. There's nothing you can do about it in Reader.
