PDF Reader is repeating "underscore" in a fillable form.

I am working on making our fillable forms accessible and one section of my form reads,  "underscore" incessantly. Has anyone had this problem and know how to fix it?

If you want to make a line across the entire form you can use 3 dashes "---" + enter.

If you want to create a line for a form field, one work around is to use tab + underline, instead of typing underscore.

The screenreader will not read the underline or tabs.  These actions will have to be done in the original word document before converting to PDF.

I have used my tabs to set a line for people to type their name on. However, when I save my word document to a acrobat pdf and the ada reads it in the pdf it still reads "underscore" continually even thought I did not use a underscore to create the line.
