Hi all,

When I try to open a large pdf File that is on network it freeze my PDF reader.

If I close it then open it again it will be ok

We are using the latest version of reader. N o matter if I use a powerfull computer or not. If I use another reader there is no problem. Disabling Enhanced security and sandbox mode doesnt solve the problem.

Do you have an Idea on what I should test?

thnks

Hi there

Hope you are doing well and sorry for the trouble. As described, the Acrobat Reader is slow when opening files form network and disabling enhanced security and sandbox mode doesn't solve the problem.

Is this a behavior with a particular PDF file or with all the PDFs? PLease try with a different PDF file and check. Also try to download the file to your computer locally and try to open it and check.

Please make sure you have the recent version 21.07.20099 installed go to Help > Check for updates and reboot the computer once.

Also try to create a new test user profile with full admin rights in Windows or enable the root account in MAC and try using the application there and check.

Regards

Amal
