PDF text not readable but can see outlines of documents

I am facing a typical issue with certain PDFs ... PDF opens in Adobe Acrobat Reader however I can only see outlines and can not see any text within. These PDFs are generated by a typical accounting software. Further the same PDF properly visible on my Macbook Air but not so on iMac.

Hi All,

We have rolled out fix for this issue. Please update Acrobat to the latest version and try opening the pdf files.

It's a great help. The issue is resolved when app updated to 25.001.20348.
