PDFs will not open as PFD

on a MacintoshI have PDF documents that now will only open as preview

    The pdf is only opening as a preview and the same issue is happening to me also. I have to sync my Gmail account with the pdf reader account, During that process my Gmail syncing I have to recover Gmail password and after that, I can edit also on the pdf.

    Start Acrobat Reader. Use Open from the File menu.
