Permanent blank window opens with Reader. Cannot close it or use the application.

Question

On a MacBook, OSX 11.6Reader opens with a permanent, blank widow that cannot be close and which prevents the application from functioning. Virtual Support directed me to instruction for Windows, but they didn't do me much good.

Sorry for the trouble you are facing. What you have explained above, it sounds like all of the sudden you have started experiencing the problem where Reader opens with a blanc window.

Not sure what exactly went wrong, but we can try couple of things to get the root cause of the problem-

Are you facing this issue while working with a particular file?
Could you help us with some relevant screenshots?
Check with another file if the same happens with that?
Check the Acrobat Reader's updates, Launch Acrobat Reader>Help>Check for update and install the latest Patch.
