We currently use Adobe for our fitters job cards. They insert photos of completed jobs. When I then open the files on my PC the images are missing. All text etc is present. If I open the files on line or on one of the pads - the images are still there. Why do they vanish on the PC and how do I resolve this? It's important that this works

    Hello Lucys,

We're sorry for the delayed response and inconvenience caused. Adobe Reader touch is old and out of support product, please uninstall/remove it and download and install Adobe Reader from Adobe - Adobe Acrobat Reader DC Distribution and open the PDFs in Adobe Reader.

    Thanks,

    Anand Sri.

    Hello Lucys,

We're sorry for the trouble you had while viewing a PDF file with images, please sign out from Adobe Reader, reboot the machine, sign back in Adobe Reader and open the PDF and see if this brings any difference.

Navigate to Adobe Reader's Preferences from Adobe Reader's Edit menu>Preferences>Page Display>under Page Content and Information, please select 'Show large images'>Click OK and close Adobe Reader and relaunch Adobe Reader and the PDF file.

Also, check for any pending updates of Adobe Reader from Help>Check for updates, reboot the machine after updating Adobe Reader.

Have you tried opening other PDF files with images and checked? If not, please check. What is the dot version of Adobe Reader installed? To identify, refer to Identify the product and its version for Acrobat and Reader DC

Is it a Mac or Windows machine and what is the version of the OS installed?

Let us know how it goes and share your findings.

    Thanks,

    Anand Sri.

I have looked for everything you have advised. Cannot find a way to log out or settings as you describe them. Is it because this pc has adobe reader touch?
