Question

Please help me find the print button so I can print my blood test requisition!

Hello, I need to print a PDF my doctor sent me on my Mac. When I clicked on the button in her medical care program it automatically took me to Adobe (I *totally* don't want Adobe, and have begged for my unwanted subscription and payments to be cancelled, but that's another story).  There's now no way I can just download the pdf from her message to my computer downloads file like I could pre-Adobe.

When it opens in Adobe there are all kinds of buttons that say I can add comments, highlight it, etc, etc, but none that just say "File" or "Print." Surely these should be there? Where are they? How do I print this so I can take it to the blood lab?

Thanks from a frustrated  middle-aged user! I'm attached an image of the top of the page, but cut most out for confidentiality.

This is not Acrobat, it's the online interface that's a part of the Adobe Document Cloud.

If you click the button with the ellipsis ("...") at the top-right hand corner of your screenshot you'll see an option to print the file directly, or to download it to your computer, which will allow you to open it in Reader and then print it from there (assuming the file permissions allow it!).

Or just try printing it in the usual way. If you can't see the menu (not sure why not, you don't include that in your screen shot) -- try Ctrl+P in Windows or Command+P on Mac.

Hi Sarah28973052lugz,

Thank you for reaching out.

You have opened the PDF on the Acrobat Online window. You can download the PDF from that window.

Use the following steps:

1. Click on the three dots (...) at the top right corner.

2. Select Download the file or the Print the file option from the list.

Hope the information helps.

Thanks,

Meenakshi
