For a number of reasons I prefer to use Firefox as my internet browser. Unfortunately in recent years that has become a problem. For example, I can no longer fill in Adobe forms and so on, using Firefox.

Firefox uses its own internal PDF plugin, unrelated to Adobe. And yes, it's sub-par, especially when it comes to form fields. You should report these issues to Mozilla, though.

I have no problem using Firefox, or Chrome for that matter.

    Hope that helps.

Are you talking about PDF forms? If so, have you tried downloading the forms and and filling them out with Acrobat Acrobat Reader?

Please clarify your issue and give us details. What are the issues in "and so on"?

Please give us examples of websites that are not "Firefox Friendly" so we can look at them.

For a number of reasons, I personally prefer to use Firefox as my internet browser. Unfortunately, in recent years, I have encountered some issues with certain functionalities, such as filling out Adobe forms, while using Firefox. This has been a bit inconvenient, but I have found workarounds or switched to other browsers when necessary. Nonetheless, I still find Firefox to be a reliable and user-friendly browser overall.

    Hi @freelancer29753352zc7c

The first question to ask is: are you using the PDF reader that is native to Firefox or are you using the Adobe Acrobat Reader plugin? Details here:

    https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/pdf-browser-plugin-configuration.html

"Many recent browser versions include their own, native PDF plug-ins that automatically replace the Acrobat and Reader plug-in from Adobe. Installing Firefox 19 or later, for instance, can result in your Adobe plug-in being disabled and replaced. Browser plug-ins typically do not support all PDF capabilities or offer comparable features. If you experience the following problems, you may need to revert to the Adobe plug-in."

...such as filling out Adobe forms, while using Firefox

Second: not all PDF forms are made by Adobe Acrobat or viewed by Adobe Acrobat Reader. Adobe gave away PDF close to 20 years ago and it is owned by an ISO. The PDF forms you are filling out may or may not include Adobe.

Third: I asked for a link to a troublesome form. Can you post that so we can examine the PDF? The problem may (or may not) lie within the PDF itself.

I use Firefox too, but first I download the PDF, then I open it in Adobe Acrobat to fill it out.

Fourth: What is your OS and version?

Fifth: Please clarify your issue. Your subject line says, "Please make Adobe websites Firefox friendly." Are you going to the adobe.com website? Or are you viewing PDFs that you have found on non-Adobe websites as the body of your post appears to suggest?

Someone moved your post to The Lounge and did not say they were doing it. I've moved it to Acrobat Reader for you.
