Plu in Failure using Safari

Running Mac OS Sierra v 10.12.3, Safari v 10.0.3 and Adobe Acrobat Reader DC v 2015.023.20056.

When printing PDF file from within Safari, PDF file reopens in new tab and then I print file. While file does print, tab screen goes blank and get "plug in failure" message. Before printing another file, must close the blank tab. In Safari preferences, Java Script is enabled and Adobe Reader plug in for Safari is enable although see message "Adobe Reader does not support the highest level of Security for Safari plug ins". Suggestions?

Not a Mac person but a workaround would be to download the pdf and open it in Adobe Reader.

I have the exact same situation. As soon as I click "Print", the PDF file is no longer viewable, and instead, I get the "Plug-In Failure" message. That said, file DOES get printed. However, in order to return to the PDF file, I need to reload it.
