Pop up with circle loading screen freezes after opening document

Ive had this issue with acrobat even after fresh install and restart. I have about 10 seconds before this pop up comes on and glitches consistently, Requiring an end task with task manager. Could do with a solution, using the chrome extension instead now as that works.

    30 minutes later..
    I found a really simple solution to this (in Windows)
    ALT+F4  closes the window with the flickering load circle. After that Acrobat works as it should.
    But really.. shouldn't Adobe be better than this?
