Popup comments - how do I inactivate them?

Hello, I have to do a lot of proofreading and editing of pdfs, and I'm using the yellow commetn option for this. What drives my nuts are the popup comments that appear as soon as I type a comment or just add a comma etc. I have the comment column on the right side, so that is absolutely enough, but there are always two (!) popup comment windows opening at the same time and it takes ages until they close. They are always in the way and I don't want them. Is there a way to inacitvate them? Nobody seems to know. Thank you!
