Poster print not available in Reader DC

I have recently upgraded to DC. I have A3 and A2 size pdfs which in the past I have printed on an A4 printer using the poster function. But with DC the button is greyed out. An internet search indicated this might be because Protected Mode is on. However I have disabled that and the problem is the same.
