Pre-processing file never ends

When I try to open a 36" x 48" PDF plotted from AutoCAD that has very dense graphics, pre-processing to open the file never ends (at least not in 20 minutes). It opens fine in Acrobat DC full version. I need to send to clients that have only Acrobat Reader but they cannot open it due to perpetual pre-processing. An example file is attached.
