    Hello Lisa,

    Thanks for reporting the issue.

Please can you share few details regarding the issue, which you're facing:

    1. Adobe Reader/Acrobat version you're currently using.
    2. Printer/Driver currently in-use
    3. OS version
    4. Is the issue reproducible on all PDF files, or on a single file. (If possible, Please share the PDF file)

We suggest to use the latest Adobe Reader's version. One can download from : https://get.adobe.com/reader/

    Regards,

    Swapnil Srivastava

I tried printing a PDF today for the first time in a long time

    Adobe Reader DC 2019.021.20061

Windows 10 Pro Version 1909 OS Build 18363.535

Multiple PDF files, some that I successfully printed earlier this year so it has NOTHING to do with the PDF file itself, for example I tried to print https://smartpilot.ca/images/tp2228e_1.pdf, I previously printed this with no issues in an older version of Acrobat Reader, in this version of Acrobat the Print Dialog box opens, then when I click "Print" NOTHING happens.

Multiple printers, the two most recent were "Canon MF741C/743C UFR II" and I even tried PrimoPDF (a software printer used for creating PDF files) so it is NOT printer driver related

NOTHING shows up in the print queue on Windows

NOTHING shows up in the printer logs

NOTHING tries to communicate with the printer (I used Wireshark to verify what traffic was being sent)

The PDF files do not have any security to limit printing.

Other Windows software (Word, Excel, OpenOffice Writer, OpenOffice Calc) all print fine.

You broke Acrobat Reader DC. Please fix it.

I have the same issue. I was able to temporarily get past my hurdle by opening the PDF in chrome and printing that way.

The behavior is the same as what was documented in 2018 (https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/nothing-happens-click-printer-properties.html).

I just recently updated to version 19.021.20049

I am printing documents stored on my local machine.

Printing in all other applications work fine except from this computer (Windows 7)

I am able to print successfully to the same printer from a Windows 10 machine

    Same here.

We cannot print pdf files with Acrobat Reader. Seems to be a software problem.

    Any news on this topic?

I saw this today with 2 different computers, both were running Windows 7.

The print jobs wouldn't go to the queue.  They just dissappeared.  I checked the windows program log files and they didn't show any errors, as a work around I installed Foxit PDF reader on both machines and it printed without issue

Guy8, Thank you for the suggestion. My computer is also running Windows 7, while most of the other computers are running Windows 10. I don't know if that is the issue because we have the newest server OS and it was not working on that machine either.  I was using my PDFelement software to work around this issue, but it's much slower than adobe reader to start. I installed Foxit Reader and it's a little bit faster. Hopefully Adobe will have a resolution soon. Thanks again!

I am having the same issue. It just started today. I am using version 19.021.20049. It is not a printer or pdf issue. I can print pdf files in other programs. It doesn't matter if I try to print a pdf file already saved to my computer or if I try to print a pdf file by opening the file in my email application. I have tried to unistall, restart, install, restart, and still nothing. It was fixed for about 1 hour after I installed the update from Oct. 24th, but suddenly it will not print again. Nothing is going into my print queue and when I am on the print screen, the properties button does not work. I am not receiving any error messages.

I've spent too much time on this today.  Had someone from Adobe log in to my computer.  Saw everything that happened, told me to go to the community and ask for help because it's a free download.  I've uninstalled/reinstalled, changed passwords, logged in on different browsers, changed users.  Everything prints except for PDFs.  I'm kind of over it today.  Maybe it'll miraculously work tomorrow.  it worked yesterday.
