Question

Print defaults to multiple copies ONLY THE FIRST TIME

One of my users has a printing problem: Very first time printing after opening Acrobat Reader, print window defaults to 11 copies. If she exits print then immediately prints again, copies is set to 1, until she closes Acrobat Reader. Doesn’t matter if she opens Acrobat then a PDF, or opens PDF which causes Reader to open. This happened with at least five different PDF files generated from different sources.

If she opens a PDF while holding <Shift>+<Ctrl>, the print defaults to 1 copy… until she closes Acrobat.

She should not have to hold <Shift>+<Ctrl> every time she wants to open Acrobat or a PDF, especially since at least one process she does automatically generates and opens a PDF.

Anyone know how to get the FIRST print to stop defaulting to 11 copies?

Did you ever figure this out? I have a user with the same issue now as well. Curious before I start blowing out their profile.
