Print delays

Question

From the time I press print to the time it actually prints my pdf, it's like a 45 seconds delay.This only happens in Adobe.  Any ideas?

Hi Karencpp,

As shared, that its a 45sec of delay in printing which is longer than usual. So you may check whether you have the application up to date or not?

Also, is it Acrobat or Reader DC? You may launch application > Help>Check for update (install if there is any pending)

As a work around you may also try this-

Open a PDF file
From the menu, select File > Print
From the dialog displayed, click on the Advanced button at the bottom
On the Advanced Print Setup dialog, make sure that “Let printer determine colors” is CHECKED.
Click OK and OK to print the document.
