print problem failed message " failed to opening raster file"

hello my comptuter is an IMAC OSX version high Sierra 10.13.6. when I open a pdf file with acrobat reader DC I got thsi message failed opening rster file or this one failed "filter". my printer is a brother DCP-7045N. I proceeded to a software update of this printer without any success, still impossible to print. But if i try to print the document as an image it works. Can you help me. I called brother support without success to solve the problem.
