How would I go about adding a time stamp on the footer for every .pdf that I print? I'm on Reader version DC 17. Would professional have this feature? Thank you in advance for your help.

Actually, this can also be achieved with Reader, but it would require writing a custom-made script that would add a new "Print with Date" command to the File menu. You would then need to use that command to achieve it. It won't work if you use the built-in Print command of the application.

If you're interested in something like that feel free to contact me privately at try6767 at gmail.com, and we could discuss it further.

    Hi Palmk,

The functionality you are looking for is available in the professional version of Adobe Acrobat DC. This feature doesn't come up with the Reader.

You can go through the help document to know how it works with Acrobat DC- Add headers, footers, and Bates numbering to PDFs, Adobe Acrobat

    Hope this helps.

    Thank you Akki.

Can this be done once and every pdf I open and print will have this? Or do I need to do this for every pdf manually? Thank you.
