Documents printed with Microsoft print-to-pdf (Windows 10) are properly rendered when the user is in the US.  Users in Brazil get expanded letters that run together.

US:

Brazil:

The problem also occurs with a different print-to-pdf (PDF995).  It seems to only happen on the PCs in Brazil.  They have Windows 10 Pro and Office 365.  Any help or ideas appreciated.

Have you checked the PDF in a non-Adobe viewer? For example Microsoft Edge? Adobe don't make Print-to-PDF for other people. Only Adobe PDF in Acrobat Pro/Standard. However, a problem with more than one print-to-PDF driver suggests a problem with system, app, or fonts.

If the files look the same (bad) in Microsoft Edge, you have a problem, but no Adobe software or technology is involved - it's all Microsoft.

Does not render properly in Edge.  However it must be something to do with rendering in Brazil, as the same configuration works in all cases in the US.
