Question

Printing downloads

I want to be able to download a document and print it without having to save it first.

Very frustrating! I can download and then print directly without using Reader. If a document requires Reader to open then I am forced to save it to my computer before I can print it. This is a hassle if I don't need to save it.

Why will Reader not let me download and print without saving??!!!

Because it's impossible to display (or print) a PDF file with first saving it to the local computer. Even when it looks like it's not happening, it is, as a temporary file in the browser's cache folders, for example.

PS. Most browsers can be set to open a PDF file in Reader directly, even without explicitly saving it. They just save it as a temporary file behind-the-scenes and then call Reader and ask it to open it. If you let us know what browser you're using we could help you set it up (if it's possible).
