Printing from Acrobat Reader DC is small

I am printing sewing pattern and the 1" scale marker is 1/32" small. This adds up over several inches to be serious error. On my Dell laptop, Windows 10,  latest adobe acrobat reader, Brother inkjet,  it prints fine. On my wife's Dell (3 years newer), Windows 10, same Adobe Reader DC version, Same printer (on wifi network) that inch is short. I have matched up all the choices and properties. So we have been printing with 103.22% size increase and it's close enough for small things,  But she's a quilter and sometimes the error is noticable, like on a Queen size for example. Anybody got a fix for this? She's starting a major project.
