Printing particular pages does not work

I am trying to print out schematics on a plotter printer. 

It seems like one page with more complex drawings is giving me issues when I try to print it, but when I try to print a simpler page that has a single image and some spreadsheet cells, it has no problem 

The issue in particular is the printing progress window, which shows at 0% and just stays on screen until I click enough to make the program prompt me that it's not responding, or I end the program.
