Printing PDF's very slow since update to 21.1.20145.0

Question

HiPost upgrading to Adobe Reader DC 21.1.20145.0 we are regularly experiencing slow printing of PDF's accross the printer estate. Print jobs a regularly stuck in a Spooling state. The Event Viewer on the print server shows numerous errors stating "Document xxx, Print Document owned by xxxxxxxxx timed out while printing on xxxxxx. The spooler waited for 240000 milliseconds and no data was received".Anyone else experiencing this and is there a fix and/or work-a-round available?Thanks

Make sure you've installed the latest patches for your Windows OS. Microsoft had released a series of additional updates because their regular comulative update in february had massive negetive impact on printers.
