Printing to A3 always reverts to A4 page size

I would appreciate help with the following issue:

 

When printing a B2 document (50x70 cm) to A3 paper the actual output always either ends up on A4 paper or the printer complains that A4 paper should be loaded instead of A3 paper.

 

Additional info:

document is one page B2 PDF (a poster)

Adobe Acrobat Reader DC version is 21.1.20155.433178

None of all combinations for "Choose paper source by PDF page size" and "Use custom paper size when needed" produces the desired output, which is to fit B2 poster to A3 page. A3 paper is loaded into "Drawer 2".

I have solved the issue. The printer driver for Cannon imageRUNNER was incorrectly configured so paper size always revereted to A4 as device type was restricted; enabling other page sizes resolved the printing issue.
