Printing with Cntrl P

I recently lost whatever I had Adobe on my Computer.  I purchased Adobe Export PDF on 9/9/16.  I also had Adobe Acrobat Reader (I downloaded that again.)  When I use Cntrl P on any file now, the screen bypasses "Print" and goes directly to save.  So inorder to print anything that I don't have saved to one of my personal files that I can use File, Save on, I have to save the page to my desktop, they open it, print it, then delete the file I had to create to get anything printed.  Is this because I lost the Export PDF, or what is the problem?

If I understand what's happening here, when you go to print a pdf file from Reader, it prints to a file instead of to the printer?

If so, go to File>Print>Advanced and deselect "Print to file".
