Prints black boxes

When looking at the document, its fine, however, when I print it it's full of black boxes. I am using Windows 10 and I have all my updates for both windows and adobe.

    We apologize for the delay in response to your query. Are you still experiencing the same error or managed to find the solution?

    As mentioned, in preview document looks fine but, when printing, it has full of black boxes. For better understanding, would like to confirm few things-

    1- Does it happen with every pdf that you print?

    2- Are you using Adobe Reader DC? If yes, then what is the version? Open Reader>Help>About Reader DC

    Open Reader>Help>Check for update  DC Release Notes — Release Notes for Acrobat DC Products

    3- Is that document contains real text or has loads of images in it?

    4- Check if you have all the required printer updates installed?

    5- Try, Print>Advanced>Print As Image.
