Problem opening attachments in a pdf

I recieved an email containing a secure pdf, when I opened it in reader on my pc, I can see the attachments yet I cannot open them. They are listed with file sizes, but I am unable to open them and they do appear in the attacment search. I read on another forum post with a somewhat similar problem that the attachments might have to be listed in alphabetical order but I dont see how that would effect them? ANy help would be much appreciated!

EDIT: Just realized I made an error, they do NOT show up in the attachment  search. Others that recieved the email have no issues in opening the attachments, seems its just me. I've ensured my Adobe Reader has the latest version installed, and I've redownloaded the program just to be sure.
