Problem opening document ( 57 ).

I'm having issues with some computers that we have uninstalled Adobe Reader X and installed the latest Adobe reader DC.  

Error reads.  There was an error opening this document.  There was a problem reading this document (57).

I have repaired, uninstalled reinstalled.  ran the Adobe cleanup utility, reboot, reinstall.

I have deleted registry key hkey local user/softwear/adobe/ version 10 folder.

I'm not finding much useful data on this and looking for a solution before we have to simply reimage these pc's.  Computers that have not had Adobe Reader X previously installed do not have this issue leading me to think it is something residual.
