Problem with switching highlight colors

When I select highlight property and click on the color, there is a bottom part with all the colors I've saved before for me to use. But when I click on a previously saved color, nothing changed.  Any help?

Looking at the information above, it seems that you had some previously changed color history of Highlighting tool that you were able to toggle earlier but now cant find it?

There has never been such option of keeping the previously changed color at the bottom of the page. How exactly you can change the highlighting color for that you may refer to the help article Mark up text with edits, Adobe Acrobat.

If you can help us with the screenshot of what you had before that would be easier for us to understand.
