Product version reported incorrectly

Hello,

I have recenelt y installed the latest version of Adobe Reader DC.

When installing via the executable file the verasion is reported correctly: 17.009.20044

But after extracting the msi it is reported as:15.007.20033

Any help will be greatufully received as it makes it extremely difficult using software to check that the installed version is not out of date.

    Sorry for the delay in response.

    Try installing the application from here: Adobe - Adobe Acrobat Reader DC Distribution

    Check if this helps.

    Please check the dot version of the application installed.

    To check that, launch the application and go to Help menu.

    Then from the drop down select About Adobe Acrobat Reader DC.

    You will get a small window with dot version mentioned at the top.

    Check if it is the same version you are trying to install.

    Please share the exact steps you do to install the application when different version reported.
