Program crashes

After I open a file, I get a pop-up stating "The instruction at 0x5f15525c referenced memory at 0x00000000. The memory could not be read."

Any idea what this is and how I can rectify the problem.

Cheers!  -JC

    Hi johnc50218014,

Try to repair Reader and see if that works:

Launch Reader>click Help menu>select Repair Reader

If that doesn't work, try to remove Reader using Cleaner tool from here: Download Adobe Reader and Acrobat Cleaner Tool - Adobe Labs  , restart the computer, download and install Reader DC from here: Adobe - Adobe Acrobat Reader DC Distribution

Assuming you are able to access Reader option, could you please confirm the version of Reader installed on the computer?

Launch Reader>click Help menu>select About Adobe Acrobat Reader.

I over the last week have the same problem with this message. you click the close button and the PDF disappears.

This only happens when I'm opening PDF's in Outlook express!

    Any Ideas for a fix?
