I have a pdf picture on my desktop that is enlarged to over 700 times the original.  When I change it, it is reduced to whatever size I want.  HOVEVER When I close it and re-open it it goes back to the original 700Xs original.

How can I save the replaced size?

Try Edit>Preferences>Documents>Open settings and choose Restore last view settings when reopening documents
