RdrCEF.EXE Memory spike

Has anyone else had a problem where this processes locks onto and will not release memory? We have a Citrix farm with DC on each of the servers and this is a frequent, pretty much daily issue with all of these servers.

Have seen it take over 2Gb of memory without releasing and the only way to resolve is to kill the process.

Would love to know whats causing it so I can resolve please?

    Hi Leea,

Do you see RdrCEF.exe fluctuating/crashing while you been monitoring the processes?

What is the current version of Reader installed in your environment? There was an issue and has been fixed during October update patch, if you missing that patch try install the missing updates and check again.

    Let us know the update.

    Hi Tariq,

No, once the process has the memory there is no fluctuation, it is holding on to everything it can and not releasing.

System is Adobe DC. What was the issue fixed in the patch in October please?

    Regards,

    Lee

    Lee,

One of the instance of this .exe was crashing due to some reason and was fixed during October patch.

Have you tried updating the environment? If not, please try and let me know if that helps.
