Hi SmithKarl

Hope you are doing well and sorry for the trouble. As described, Adobe Acrobat Reader DC can´t open 3D-pdf anymore and throwing the error "A 3D data parsing error has occured"

Please try to update the application to the recent version 21.07.20099 from the help menu > Check for updates and reboot the computer once and see if that works for you.

You may also try the steps below and see if that helps:

1. Close Adobe Acrobat /Reader DCversion and rename the following folders:

  • C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Local\Adobe\Acrobat\DC to C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Local\Adobe\Acrobat\DC_OLD
  • If visible, C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Local\Adobe\Acrobat\20XX to C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Local\Adobe\Acrobat\20XX_OLD

2. Reboot the computer once.

Hope this information will help

Regards

Amal
