Re: How to update or patch Adobe Reader DC without local admin rights

Hi

 

we have the same issue as this post which is 6 yrs old (sorry about that). As far as i read, no real simple solution was provided.

 

We have 10 to 15 workstations that need so be always uptodate as for all existing patches. We have a server monitoring that.

However we don't have a server for deployment purposes, like WAPT or things like that. We don't need it for so few workstations.

We tried using a dedicated account with rights only for the acrobat update service and or update task. what do we miss ? We don't understand why it does not work.

    thanks a lot but i knew this guide. I'm not planning to setup something complicated for a few endpoints

     

    I only miss a few information on how to give rights to the adobe update service. what's the point being able to setup rights if it does not work at the end.

     

    Maybe it's not possible, i'm a bit suprised
