If you updated to Catalina, there are many problems

I don't know if the problems are due to last minute changes in Catalina, or problems with Adobe programs

Amal,

I have Catalina and Acrobat Reader (...47). When I install the Reader fix (...49) it says 'installation complete' but Acrobat just shows the 'spinning beachball' when I try to do anything. When I install the Acrobat fix (...49) it tries to find Acrobat in the Applications folder, but it is grayed out so it can't complete the operation. Please help.

Hi there,

Wea are sorry to hear that the issue still persists, please try the following steps:

Remove the application using the Adobe Acrobat Cleaner Tool https://labs.adobe.com/downloads/acrobatcleaner.html
Reboot the computer
Reinstall the application using the link https://get.adobe.com/reader/enterprise/

Note: After installation please try updating the application to the latest version .

We are sorry for the trouble you had. As mentioned, you are not able to open the PDF on your Mac OS Catalina, correct?

Based on the conversation happening here, i don't see anyone mentioning about the new update for Adobe Acrobat/Reader DC compatible with Mac OS Catalina. In case you are not aware of the updates please refer to help article https://community.adobe.com/t5/Acrobat-Reader/Acrobat-DC-amp-Reader-DC-Optional-update-for-Windows-and-Mac/td-p/10691280

If you have already updated to the new version and still facing the issue kindly let us know.
