Hello,

I have this same issue with an end user.  She has Adobe version 18.11.20038 and Outlook 2016.  When she attempts to do send File and then chooses Microsoft outlook it takes a really long time, like 2 minutes for it to finally send.

Everything I have found online like you state above says to go to most recent version.  We have uninstalled and reinstalled with the version I posted and she still has the issue.

Any help would be appreciated.

    Hi ASBASB,

    Sorry for the delay in response.

    Did you try once updating the Adobe Acrobat Reader DC?

    There was a patch released on 14 May. Refer this help document Release Notes | Adobe Acrobat, Reader.

    Check if after updating the application do you still experience the same issue.

    Also, please let us know if this issue occurs on a machine at work or on a personal system.

    If the issue still persists, let us know.

    Hi Meenakshi,

    The user has DC May 2018 (18.011.20040) installed.  He is still experiencing the same issue.

    Hi Vince,

    As you are experiencing the issue while sending the documents via Microsoft Outlook, could you please confirm if it takes time in attaching the file or when sending the email.

    Please share the MS Outlook 16 version user is using on his machine.

    Since when the user started experiencing the issue.

    Is the user on Mac or on Windows? What is the OS version?

    Do you experience this issue with all the files you try to send via MS Outlook?

    Please provide more information on this issue.

    Hi Meenakshi,

    I have a user that is also experiencing slowness in attaching the file.  It takes about 30 seconds every time for the outlook message window to come up so they can enter the address. We have uninstalled Acrobat reader and Office 365 and still have the same problem. Happens with pdfs opened within IE 11 and local.

    Windows 10

    Outlook 2016 version 1803 build 9126.2152

    Acrobat reader DC 2018.011.20038

    Hi ASBASB,

    Please try once updating the Windows and Outlook on your machine.

    Also, try once to repair the MS Outlook.

    Check if that makes any difference.
