READ OUT LOUD not working Mac OS 11.6.5

I just discovered Read Out Load feature from a friend but I cannot engage it work it keeps saying black page over and over.

Hope you are doing well and sorry to hear that.

What is the workflow/steps you are doing? A small video recording of the same would be very helpful.

Is this an issue with a particular PDF file or with all the PDFs? Please try with a different PDF file and check.

What is the version of the Acrobat Reader DC you are using? To check the version go to Help > About Acrobat and make sure you have the recent version 22.1.20112 installed. Go to Help > Check for updates and reboot the computer once.

Also, please go through the help page https://helpx.adobe.com/reader/using/accessibility-features.html and see if that works.
