Reader critical failure at initialization entry point not found

Sudden problems with opening Acrobat Reader (worked fine 2 days ago). Have reinstalled after using Cleaner tool. Have restarted the computer. This is the error I receive with and without Protected Mode disabled:

Any thoughts on what I can do to make Reader functional again?

    As per the issue description mentioned above, you are getting above mentioned error when opening Acrobat Reader, is that correct?
